Sectors: 10 of the 11 sectors closed higher. Consumer Discretionary led, rising +2.15%. Health Care was the only sector that closed lower, falling -0.23%.

Commodities: Crude Oil futures dropped -2.41% to $67.70 per barrel. Gold futures fell -0.52% to $1,924 per oz.

Currencies: The US Dollar Index fell -0.24% to $102.51.

Crypto: Bitcoin gained +1. 23% to $30,645. Ethereum dropped +1.58% to $1,888.

Interest Rates: The US 10-year Treasury yield rose to 3.768%.

Today's Chart of the Day was shared by Conor White (@ConorWhiteRJ). It's a daily candlestick chart of the Airlines ETF, $JETS, over the past ten months. The heaviest-weighted stocks in this ETF are, $DAL, $LUV, $AAL, $UAL, and $SKYW. Airlines were the best-performing industry group today, with $JETS soaring +4.41%. Hawaiian Airlines ($HA) was the biggest contributor, as the stock flew +19.12%Conor points out that we can add Airlines to the growing list of industry groups making new 52-week highs. Today was the first 52-week high for $JETS in more than two years, marking a change of character for Airlines.
