Chart of the Day

Today’s chart of the day was shared on Twitter by John Kicklighter (@JohnKicklighter). It’s a daily candlestick chart of the S&P 500 index. You’ll notice that price formed a rising wedge pattern that came to a point right at resistance from the September highs. Price typically extends to the downside once this bearish chart pattern is broken. Price has already begun breaking down and looks like it will see further downside from here.
