We agree with Humphrey, which is why we’ll be focusing on catching the meat of these trends, with both long and short ideas.

Every week, we compile a list of stocks that are experiencing the most momentum in terms of investor interest. Let’s take a look at which stocks are buzzing this week!

This table shows the rate of change in weekly mentions relative to a longer-term average of mention history. In less technical terms, this list shows us the most popular stocks on social media last week. 

This Week’s Overview: 

This week’s list of trending tickers was much more diverse than the last report, which was dominated by Bank stocks. The pie charts below illustrate the wide array of sectors and industries that were represented on this week’s list. 

That being said, Industrials and companies involved in Aerospace/Defense had some of the best technical setups on the list. 

World Wide Entertainment (WWE) and Endeavor Group (EDR) have been in the spotlight lately on news of a merger between the two. However, we want to avoid stocks with potential M&A news, in order to reduce the risk of gaps, whipsaws, and other messy price action. 

There were a lot of attractive technical setups on this week’s list. We outlined a few of our favorites below. 

You may be familiar with some of these companies, but others are lesser-known gems.
