“The public is often right during the trends, but wrong at both ends.” 

We agree with Humphrey, which is why we’ll be focusing on catching the meat of these trends, with both long and short ideas. 

The Buzz uses proprietary social media data from our partners at Likefolio. 

Every week, we compile a list of stocks that are experiencing the most momentum in terms of investor interest. Let’s take a look at which stocks are buzzing this week!

This table shows the rate of change in weekly mentions relative to a longer-term average of mention history. In less technical terms, this list shows us the most popular stocks on social media last week. 

This Week’s Overview: 

Industrials and Health Care stocks showed up frequently this week. The list was dominated by Bank stocks a few weeks ago, but only one showed up on this week’s list. 

Most of the tickers were small caps, but there were some large caps, including $BUD, and $PKX. 

A few tickers made the list for the wrong reasons. We think stocks like $VC and $SUI only made the list because they have the same ticker symbols as a few sketchy cryptocurrencies. We’ll add a filter to our scan to avoid this issue in the future. 

In this week’s report, we highlight three long ideas:

1. $ENSG - Ensign Group Inc.
2. $KRYS - Krystal Biotech Inc.
3. $AGI - Alamos Gold Inc.
